Black Equity Organisation (BEO) is a national Black-led civil rights organisation in the UK, dedicated to advancing justice and equity for Black people. BEO stands as a pioneering force for racial justice in the United Kingdom, as the country’s first national Black-led civil rights organisation.

Janine and I launched the BEO website when they first started, and still work with this crucial organisation.

BEO is committed to dismantling systemic racism and promoting equity across all sectors of society. Through strategic advocacy, community engagement, and collaborative partnerships, BEO addresses critical issues affecting Black communities, including economic empowerment, education, health, and criminal justice reform. The organisation employs a multifaceted approach, combining research, policy development, and grassroots mobilisation to drive meaningful change. BEO’s vision encompasses a future where Black Britons have equal opportunities to thrive, free from discrimination and prejudice. By amplifying Black voices and fostering leadership, BEO is shaping a more inclusive and equitable Britain for generations to come.ocacy, community empowerment, and systemic change.
