Community Trade Union has been a client for many years. Initially I consulted on acquisition strategy and retention and then that led to taking over the build and maintenance of their website.

Community was initially the Steelworkers union but has diversified, expanded and adapted to a modern working world – and looks in good shape to embrace whatever the future holds.

We manage two sites for this Trade Union but have integrated many more and have also more tightly integrated their back end systems with the front-end website.

The majority of the work has been integration with their membership management system which has allowed us to create an easy user interface for business staff users to create things like discount codes for membership, whilst also keeping all user data safe in a central location.

In addition we have implemented a SSO system which is validated with the above membership system – again allowing us to keep member data outside of WordPress and also avoiding data conflicts.
