The Cambridge Science Festival is a prestigious annual event that brings the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to the public, hosted by MIT.
This is the second year that Oscar and I have been designing and developing this website. Although it looks straightforward – it is probably the most complex project I have ever been involved with. The combination of information gathering, ticket management and event/location organisation has been fun and challenging!
Hosted by the University of Cambridge, this festival transforms the city into a hub of scientific exploration and discovery. Over two weeks, visitors of all ages can engage with world-leading researchers, participate in hands-on experiments, attend thought-provoking lectures, and explore interactive exhibits. The festival covers a wide range of topics, from astronomy and artificial intelligence to climate change and biotechnology, making complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting for everyone. By fostering dialogue between scientists and the public, the Cambridge Science Festival plays a crucial role in inspiring the next generation of researchers and promoting scientific literacy in society.
